“Age with Joy” was born out of a desire to provide the pure love of God and genuine care to our elderly treasures. We offer a facility that provides a safe haven for your elderly loved ones because we believe that growing old must be a blissful affair even in the face of numerous infirmities, which are often consistent with the inevitable process of aging.

Your parents, relatives, other loved friends who have served you, your communities, and your country very well during the spring and summer years of their lives. They have nurtured and cared for us, provided much-needed support, and lavished us with love and protection. We aim to ensure that they grow old with dignity and surrounded by the sheer beauty of nature!
Our Values
We embrace the philosophy of proper health care management, fresh air, and exercise. These are all habits which we were taught as children, but somewhere along life’s way, and for many valid reasons, we may have strayed from what we know.
We seek to encourage our clients to return to the “old fashioned” habits of healthy eating, acquiring adequate rest exercise, and ensuring an abundant supply of fresh air on a daily basis. We assist our clients with taking control of their health by doing the basics, even in the autumn and winter years of their lives. At Age with JOY, we have re-created the “Garden of Eden”.
Age with JOY is physically nestled in the foothills of the northern range along the historical Orange Grove Road. The spectacular views provided at the facility is perfect for further stimulating the creative energies of the valued clients of our Home.

To make every day of our client’s life a joyful experience, filled with the Peace of God and continuous contentment. At Age with Joy, we pamper your loved ones in the manner they deserve!
Professional Care
Given that our live-in clients will be generally mobile, our Home will be staffed with professional caregivers, using a ratio of one caregiver for every three clients.
There will be 3 on-call doctors, trained in geriatric care, assigned to the facility. Our Supervisor of Care is a nurse with over 35 years’ experience working in the field of nursing and geriatric care.
Assistance for All
Our business model focuses on ensuring close attention and compassionate assistance is provided to a range of elderly persons who require varying levels of care. Their medical condition is not acute and any medical support required is of a basic nature.
Adult Daycare services
To support the daycare facility there will one caregiver for every four daycare clients. Other administrative and ancillary staff are well trained in their field. Our team of Patient Care providers are all qualified experientially as well as educationally.
Healthy Meals
Given the special dietary needs of the clients, and in an effort to assist with managing the general health conditions of our clients, close attention will be given to the provision of healthy meals with generous portions of fruits and vegetables to support the quest for the best quality of life for our clients.
Other qualified professionals will be engaged to provide the various related support services e.g. yoga, basic computer skills, music, and light fitness classes to enable the seniors to engage in as active a lifestyle as practically possible.
Entertainment Choices
Entertainment and stimulating structured and unstructured activities will be included in the curriculum of the Home, such that the lives of the clients are normalised and their well-being is maximised, all in the safety of the serene neighbourhood of Orange Grove, Tacarigua.
Core Care Services
The Age With Joy Care Management service uses a comprehensive approach, to create a holistic individual plan, which focuses on the client’s short term/ long term treatment, and self-care goals. The care/ case management team provides community off-site and in-house services, to clients who require physical, medical, financial, educational, technical, self-care, and social services. Our services are provided to ensure safe, secure, and stable In house and community off-site living. Care managers focus on the support of our clients and their self-care needs. An initial assessment and service plan is created for each of our clients. The plan assesses and capsulate the client’s self-care needs. The plan includes the client’s, goals, agreed-upon interventions, with intended links to resources. Weekly/ biweekly, service updates are documented on the client’s case records.
We connect our clients to services based on their preferences and abilities.
Services will be provided at The Age for Joy facility and in the client’s community. We work with our Age With Joy in-house team, and other health service providers in the community to coordinate care.
Care/Case Manager Duties & Responsibilities
Assessing clients’ physical, medical, financial, educational, technical, social needs, preferences, and abilities.
Listening to clients’ concerns and providing counseling or intervention as required.
Developing plans to improve and address existing needs.
Recording clients’ progress, charting referrals, and scheduling home visits
Following up with clients weekly/ biweekly as needed to ensure services are met.
Working with clients, Age with Joy Team, family and friend support networks, health care professionals, and community services to put the plan of care in place.
Evaluating clients’ progress weekly/ biweekly and making adjustments as needed.
